Directions

  • Road from Lavenham and Sudbury (3.0 miles)
    Coming from Lavenham

    After the left hand turning to Little Waldingfield, turn left off the B1115 signposted to “The Church” (which you will see on top of the hill). Follow the road up the hill and around the church. Straight ahead of you on the corner, you will see a small white sign saying “Rectory Manor and The Old Stables”. This is us. There is a white electric gate at the foot of the drive which will open automatically for you. Please park in front of the house and we will be happy to help you with your luggage.

    Coming from Sudbury

    Drive through Great Waldingfield past the village shop, the garage on the right hand side and the left-hand turnings to Acton. Turn right off the B1115 signposted to “The Church” (which you will see on top of the hill). Follow the road up the hill and around the church. Straight ahead of you on the corner, you will see a small white sign saying “Rectory Manor and The Old Stables”. This is us.   • Train from Sudbury (3.5 miles)

    Sudbury train station is just 3.5 miles from Rectory Manor. The station connects with the London Liverpool Street to Colchester-Ipswich-Norwich line at "Marks Tey". Travel time from London is approximately One hour. Taxis can be booked in advance to collect you from the station.

  • Air from Stansted Airport (35.0 miles)
    Stansted Airport is 35 miles away - a taxi or hire car is required to reach Rectory Manor - Drive time is approximately 45 minutes. London City Airport is 66 miles away. Our local train station of Sudbury connects to the airport via the mainline train network (change at Marks Tey) and the Docklands Light Railway (Change at Stratford International) - Travel time is approximately One hour.
