Rhiwddu Barns - Brecon Beacons National Park Information

Rhiwddu Barns offer luxury 5* accommodation in the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is something for everyone, and you will be sure of the ultimate luxury in our tranquil surroundings. There are currently 3 Barns. Adventurers Abode, a beautiful cottage which sleeps two, with the luxury of a roll top bath right alongside your bed! Ramblers Retreat, a fabulous and luxurious cottage which sleeps up to 4 people. Beacons Barn, for the height of style and comfort. It sleeps up to 9 people, and boasts beautiful slate and oak flooring, a kitchen that would serve the needs of any chef, a jacuzzi bath and a large patio area. All overlooking the unspoilt scenery of the Black Mountain. Rhiwddu is a perfect holiday destination for walkers, cyclists, nature lovers, star gazers and just about anyone who is seeking some peace and tranquillity in the countryside. It is set in a rural location, approximately 20 minutes away from the lovely towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery which have a plentiful supply of cafe's, restaurants and boutique shops. We are surrounded by Castles, and areas noted for myths and legends, such as Llyn Y Fan (which can be seen from Rhiwddu), with its famous welsh folk story of the Lady of the Lake. We are also within driving distance of The Gower, the unspoilt Ceredigion Coastline and Brechfa Forest, which is famous for its world class mountain biking.

Rhiwddu Barns is run by Shona and Lance. Until recently we lived in the Farmhouse, but we are now also able to offer the beautiful Farmhouse as accommodation to our guests. We are at hand should you need any help during your stay, and want to make sure that our guests have the nicest time possible in this most beautiful and still relatively unknown part of the country.
