The Rocksalt rooms are the perfect little seaside getaway and the ideal way to complete your Rocksalt experience when dining in the main restaurant. We have four boutique bolt holes, each with their own personality and dressed with Egyptian cotton, original antique beds, flat screen televisions and wet rooms. The two rooms at the front of the building boast stunning sea views out over the harbour and The English Channel beyond. On a good day the French coast is clearly visible. The rooms are situated on the quayside above The Smokehouse, our street food restaurant, and are just across the road from Rocksalt Restaurant, owned and operated by Mark Sargeant, ex right hand man to Gordon Ramsay. Complete with it's very own cocktail bar one the 1st floor and sun drenched terraces sitting perched above the water, Rocksalt has cemented it's place as one of Kent's most prestigious dining destinations. A cooked breakfast is included in the price. During the winter times, the restaurant is closed Monday offering a Hamper overnight delivery outside your room separately. Folkestone harbour is still a fully working fishing harbour, something we feel adds to the whole experience, and while we do our utmost to ensure the maximum level of comfort for our guests we cannot completely rule out occasional disturbance from the sounds and smells that go hand in hand with this.
