Smart Modern Prestigious Central Apartment Information

Recommendations Coffee Shops – I would recommend any of the ones across the road: The Treehouse Jeelie Piece Pekoe Tea I would also recommend Lovecrumbs – about 10/15 min walk – fantastic cake! Here are my recommendations for good restaurants in the immediate vicinity (max 15 mins walk). I haven't put addresses or phone numbers as you should be able to find them all online: Harajuku Kitchen Katie’s Diner Three Birds Montpeliers Café Grand Good bars/pubs in the area: The Golf Tavern Bennets Bar The Traverse Theatre bar The Canny Man Hotel Du Vin – there is a brilliant whisky snug upstairs Anywhere on the Grassmarket! If you like whisky, most of the bars above have good selections but for a really good selection, you might want to head into town to the Whiski Bar and Restaurant on the Mound These restaurants are a bit further away but all are city centre: Howies (there are a few but Waterloo Place is best) Cafe Marlayne Cafe St Honore Iris Serrano and Manchego Kanpai A Room in the West End Le Garrigue Here are my recommendations for sightseeing. Just my opinion of course but local knowledge is always good! You have to visit Edinburgh Castle – it is spectacular. Not cheap but worth it Walk from the Castle down the Royal Mile. Along the way, pop into some of the historic closes, shops and museums. This mile-long route could take all day, there is lots to see! When you get to the bottom of the Royal Mile, incorporate a trip to Holyrood Palace with a visit to our Scottish Parliament. It is fascinating and whilst the outside is a bit crazy, the inside is amazing. If you want a great view of the whole city and you are feeling fit, then climb up Arthur’s Seat, next to the Parliament. It is a harder climb than it looks – wear good shoes! From Waverley Bridge, you can pick up a bus tour of the whole city. These are great, and allow you to hop on and hop off for a day. If you like shopping, head for Harvey Nichols and Multrees Walk at the east end of Princes Street. Beaut
