Sunnyside Inn Information

Description

Sunnyside Inn features eight guest rooms, many with double spa tubs and private entrances. Kitchenettes, additional beds and pet-friendly rooms are available. High thread count linens and memory foam mattresses are standard. A full home-cooked country breakfast made from the bounty of the Yakima Valley is served each morning. Indoor common areas and an outdoor patio are great for groups. The kitchenette suites are preferred by mid-term travelers working in the area. The inn is within walking distance of Côte Bonneville Winery, Co Dinn Cellars, Varietal Beer Company and Snipes Mountain Brewery. Also within a stone's throw are Sunnyside's large Cinco de Mayo celebration, Summer Ale Fest in June and Lighted Farm Implement Parade, the longest running of its kind in the nation. The area participates in winery events all year: Red Wine & Chocolate, Spring Barrel Tasting, Catch the Crush and Thanksgiving in Wine Country. Aside from wine and beer tasting, popular activities include u-pick fruit, bird watching, road cycling, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, floating and fishing. Centrally located along interstate 82 in eastern Washington's Yakima Valley, Sunnyside is only 3 hours drive to Seattle, Portland and Spokane. Yakima Air Terminal (YKM) is 35 minutes west with connections to Seattle. Alaska Airlines checks a case of wine free from this airport. Alternatively, Pasco Airport (PSC) in Tri-Cities is 50 minutes east with connections to the western US. The area is known for its sunny weather and relaxed way of life. At Sunnyside Inn enjoy the amenities of a hotel in the warm atmosphere of a country inn.
