Description

St Anne’s is a comfortable, cosy haven set on the slopes of Chalice Hill with views across the Somerset Levels. You will receive a warm welcome, a good night’s sleep in one of our super-comfortable beds and a healthy vegetarian breakfast to set you up perfectly for the next day. We always use organic milk and free range eggs and organic bread and coffee where possible. We are just ten minutes walk from Glastonbury High St, and an even shorter distance from the peaceful sanctuary of the Chalice Well Gardens and the Tor. We can provide you with information about Glastonbury and the local area, its history, legends and mysteries. We have a beautiful garden and conservatory which are available for guests to relax in and therapies such as reiki, aromatherapy massage and crystal healing may be booked during your stay. Wifi, free tea and coffee and hairdryers are available in all four tastefully decorated rooms. All in all, an ideal place to base yourself for an authentic, inspiring Glastonbury experience! Please note that at present we don't have any disabled access to the house, we apologise for any inconvenience. About the host, Anna: Homeopath, flower essence practitioner, crystal healer and aromatherapist; I am fascinated by herbs and natural healing and enjoy learning as much as I can about them. I love good coffee and inspirational books. I like to travel and I am particularly fond of the Himalayas. I find yoga is brilliant for releasing tension and stress and I like getting outdoors and being in nature. My friends are really important to me and here in Glastonbury I feel fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful, positive, creative and fun people. My motto is 'Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved, and in the living of it a higher order is revealed'. Anna will be taking a sabbatical in India from the end of December for 3 months and will be leaving St Anne’s in the capable hands of Rozalia and Alex Kovacs-Napier.
