St Marks Stays Information

Description

St Marks is an inspired way to stay, connect and be part of our home away from home. Enjoy our character filled house for up to 10 people in the stunning landscape of Cumbria & the Yorkshire Dales, where you can self-cater for yourself, or have Damian and Joanne organise everything for you as your live in hosts. Damian and Joanne want you to feel a part of an inclusive community, with the addition of secluded spaces to take time out on your own. There is nothing better for the soul than being part of a group of like minded people and going back to the good old days of chatting and simply having fun together. Learning from others, discovering the world from somebody else’s point of view and having a childlike curiosity again to making friends for life. Arrive as strangers, leave as friends. There are 5 twin rooms with one having a triple bunkbed for you to dream the night away in at St Marks. All rooms are ensuite with showers to make life easy after all those walks in the Howgill Fells. We can provide radios / bluetooth speakers for a unique experience away from the tv. Don’t panic though, our 61 inch tv in the main lounge is the best way to watch a movie together, and there is always the 42 inch tv in the smaller lounge. The kitchen is the new heart of the home and that’s how we want you to feel at St Marks. Our kitchen is open for your self catering requirements where you can cook together, mingle, learn new recipes, or hell- even dance round it. Our fabulous dining space is perfect for dinner parties, with large windows and patio doors offering to die for views across the hillside. If you don't fancy venturing out into the surrounding countryside, then just sit back in our fabulous garden and enjoy the views from the comfort of St Marks - lets face it, we're right in the heart of the countryside so you can enjoy your chosen tipple and watch the sun go down over the beautiful Howgill Fells and stay warm in the evening around the fire pit or BBQ

Follow the A686 towards Kirkby Stephen, continuing straight through the town itself. After approximately 1.5 miles after leaving Kirkby Stephen, turn left on the A683 signposted Sedburgh. Continue on this windy road through some beautiful scenery, passing the Fat Lamb and the Cross Keys until you reach Cautley. St Marks Stays is on the right immediately after St Marks church on the left.
