Stonecroft was also placed third in the Free From awards in the Bed and Breakfast category 2014 and Winner in 2015 and won two gold awards in 2018 and twice awarded Gluten Free Accreditation from Coeliac UK. Breakfast is served in the elegantly decorated dining room which has an original fireplace, cornices and wonderful views through the large bay windows Guests dine in style, with fine foods, organic and locally sourced wherever possible, fine china and silver cutlery made locally by David Mellor. The Menus are varied, are by nature Gluten Free, vegetarian / vegan, and most items can be adapted to suit your dietary requirements.
Having been in the hotel industry since leaving catering college in the late 1970s, where I was trained by some of the best in the industry, I have been passionate about providing not just good service and excellent standards, but somewhere truly special for our guests. Nutrition was part of my original training, but catering for allergies and lifestyle diets has been a passion for over 30 years... times change, and knowledge with it, and we never finish learning.. I am continuously training, updating, and learning from experts across the world, in order to provide the very best for our guests. I am very proud of the fact that lifestyle diets are now mainstream and that I have in my small way played a part in that. Our guests can feel safe in the knowledge that we are qualified and well experienced in catering for all dietary requirements... in fact, we love it!
