You can also enjoy a freshly cooked breakfasts and a light lunch in the elegantly decorated lounge/dining room which has an original fireplace, cornices and panelled walls. Due to our great location and only a short walk away from an abundance of restaurants and gastro pubs we do not serve evening meals. Our central location gives you an ideal base to explore Tavistock which is a World Heritage site (the birthplace of Sir Francis Drake) with stunning architecture, individual shops, restaurants and the Pannier Market as well as the beautiful surrounding countryside. Tavistock is nestled on the edge of Dartmoor and only 30 minutes drive from Plymouth making it a great base to explore Devon and Cornwall.
