The Wriggly Tin, our new bespoke Shepherd’s Hut is set in one of our Victorian orchards with your very own flock of Ryland Sheep to admire and muse over. Be in the moment and enjoy this very special experience with the soundtrack of the birds, the river and gentle baaing of the Rylands. Sleeping at The Wriggly Tin is an experience. Enjoy fine linens, comfy bedding, the sumptuous king-size bed gives you the permission to stay in bed a little longer. The best part is the large arched roof window which is perfect for star gazers and day dreamers alike. For those who want breakfast in bed, snuggle up and gaze at the Orchard and Rylands through the window at the foot of the bed – It doesn’t get much better than this. The Wriggly Tin features an en suite shower room in which you will find fluffy Kingsize towels, bathrobes and our favourite shampoo and shower gel. A petit kitchen with double hob, oven, kettle, toaster and fridge as well as an outdoor fire pit barbeque for you to embrace Al fresco dining in our seating area followed by after dinner drinks in the two iron rocking chairs. We provide crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans - all you need to whip up a delicious supper or breakfast in bed with fresh eggs from our flock of chickens. Outdoor only WiFi is available. The Wriggly Tin can accommodate a maximum of two adults. Children and pets are strictly not allowed.

Steeped in history, Tregoose Old Mill dates back to 1750 and stands on the site of an old monastery which befell the anger of Henry VIII during the reformation. The original altar stone can still be seen in the garden and the stone that was used to build the mill is reportedly from the former monastery. A working flour mill has been on this site since the late 1400’s and stopped milling in the 1920’s. The original waterwheel was destroyed many years ago when a group of local boys re opened the mill leat which then washed away the decaying wood structure leaving only part of the original mill wheel spindle which can still be seen on the lower side of the building. The current owners and feel honoured to be part of the next stage of the mill's history. Our first holiday cottage; The Hideaway is unrecognisable now following an extensive refurbishment in 2018. Our desire is to provide luxury country coastal living in surroundings that invite you to relax, enjoy time and forget your phones for a while.
