The Tower-Suite is simply amazing. The huge bed, a far infra-red sauna, the fridge and ample wardrobe space are just the start. The bathroom boasts a double bath and a roomy, separate shower. But the piece de la resistance must be the sitting-room in the tower with it's spectacular views into the charming Norfolk countryside. Although the Suite itself is reached via the main staircase or the chair lift, the tower sitting room can only be reached by a steep - almost ladder like - staircase. But the effort is worth it. Just the place to read one of the books from the ample supply with a cup of tea/coffee - or a delicious glass of wine. PLEASE NOTE: The included breakfast is CONTINENTAL only and is already in your room in the fridge.

The Foxburgh Information
Description
This home was built for a family in 1985 and has lots of character with continental flair. Set in 20 acres of a smallhold (run on biodynamic principles) with chickens and some sheep. The garden is semi wild and produces some food, but also plants that are being used in the naturopathic practice. The Foxburgh is almost self-sufficient as far has electricity is concerned and also the heating is powered with our own wood. The whole "Foxburgh" oozes relaxation and peace. The ideal place to recover from a hectic lifestyle where work/life balance is slightly out of kilter or a particular health challenge. Having said that, this also means that internet speed is extremely slow. A magical haven! The gym is by appointment only and there is an extra charge for the use. The Foxburgh is not suitable for children. Sorry!

Air from Norwich (12.0 miles)Take the A47 towards Swaffham. When you come to the exit for Colton, Honingham at a roundabout (normal road rather than a dual carriage way) take this exit (1st one). Follow the road and take the 3rd turning on your left, which is signposted to Barnham Broom. Follow this road until you come to the Barnham Broom Golf & Country Club and take the turning on your left which has signposts to Colton and the conference centre. Follow this single track road as it meanders along the golf course. You are looking for the 3rd turning on your right. Ignore everything that is to your left. The 1st turning on your right is a dirt track into the golf course with a metal gate; the 2nd turning is by some horse stables with a sign "Bickerston Cottage"; then you come to a blind, steep hill. On the brow of this hill, as soon as you can see a bit further down the road, is a dirt track with 2 chestnut trees on one side and 2 fir trees on the other. There are signs stating "Private - no public right of way". Follow the track down to the parking area. If you drive past this dirt track and you have a hedge on your right side, you have gone to far. The hedge is my boundary.

Road from London (99.0 miles)
Use the M11 & A11 towards Norwich. From the A11 take the exit for East Dereham, Wymondham & Barnham Broom. Always follow the signs for Barnham Broom Golf & Country Club which are generally white lettering on a brown background and either state the name or a plain golfing flag. Once you have come off the A11 you will come to a roundabout by the Norfolk Constabulary HQ. Take the 3rd exit. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit. This is Tuttles Lane. Follow this road until you come to a sign post with Barnham Broom (3rd turning on your right). Turn into this road - Barnham Broom Road. Follow this road as it meanders through the countryside, past the pink entrance lodges for Kimberly Hall, over a hump-backed bridge up to a junction. Go straight over and continue. You then come to a T-junction. Turn right. You are now entering Barnham Broom village. By the Post Office & General Store go straight over the junction. Follow the road to the Barnham Broom Golf & Country Club. Turn right into Colton Road, which also happens to be the second entrance (conference centre entrance) of the club.
