The Green Bridge Inn Information


The Green Bridge Inn has 14 guest rooms, all offering a level of comfort and quality expected in the Vail Valley. Our rooms include 4 Deluxe Kings (1 ADA accessible), 8 Deluxe Doubles, and 2 King Suites. Each room features beetle kill wood walls, Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, personal safe's, keypad entry, private bathrooms, and great views of our town. While built in 2008, the GBI was built to echo the age and historic feel of the early Colorado mining days. But don't worry, we offer modern and comfortable accommodations despite the old western architecture. Please note that due to COVID-19, we do not offer daily housekeeping services at this time. Housekeeping is available to extended stay reservations and offered every 4th day. Red Cliff, Colorado is the oldest town in Eagle County, formerly acting as the county seat. Founded in 1879, Red Cliff was once a booming mining town with saloons, brothels, banks, sawmills, restaurants, theaters and more. Today, after the closing of the mines in the direct area, Red Cliff is a unique mountain community with a population of just over 280 people. Located on the backside of Colorado's finest ski resort, Vail Mountain, and sitting at just under 9,000 ft above sea level, Red Cliff offers an attractive outdoor mecca for all sorts of outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Today, longtime locals, artists, adventurers, craftsman, business owners and entrepreneurs all choose to call Red Cliff home. With direct access to the White River National Forest via Shrine Pass, snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, ATVing, hiking, rock climbing and camping are all effortlessly accessible daily activities. When you arrive, our friendly staff will give you a lay of land with all the adventures in store for you as well as a historic walking map of the town.

All floors are accessible by an elevator. We have one designated ADA room with lowered counters, bathroom fixtures and roll-in shower.


  • Road from Highway 24 (10.0 miles)
    Red Cliff can be accessed either by Highway 24 from I-70 or by taking Shrine Pass Road (Mid-June - September only) off the top of Vail Pass.
