Description

Built in the 1600's the Halfway House Pub & Kitchen still retains lots of original features and combines this classic coaching house feel, with modern cooking and contemporary accommodation. We are a family run business, serving the local community of Polbathic and the surrounding towns and villages within the Rame Peninsula. Complete with Micro Library, Children's Play Area, and Vegetable Garden we pride our selves on being more than just a Pub.

Directions

  • Road from Tamar Bridge (9.6 miles)

    Head west on Tamar Bridge, and continue through the tunnel (A38),
    At Carkeel Roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A38 for 6 miles,

    At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A374, continue for 2 miles,
    The Halfway House is on the right hand side.


    Village Parking is available opposite the Pub.

  • Road from Torpoint Ferry (8.0 miles)

    Head north on Ferry Street A374
    Use any lane to turn right to stay on Ferry Street A374
    Continue to follow A374 for 8 miles

    The Halfway House is on the left hand side 


    Village parking is available opposite the pub - after the turning for St Germans
