Description
The Edwardian King’s Head Hotel offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in Great Bircham. This boutique hotel is on the Sandringham Estate also features a bar, snug area with a comfortable lounge area, where you can also enjoy various fresh coffees. Spacious patio area which leads onto the lawn garden, with seating areas and children's play area. An AA Rosette restaurant using the best of the area’s produce. All rooms at the King’s Head are furnished in a unique and contemporary style, with en suites all including baths, as well as a separate or overhead shower. Large beds come with luxury duvets and plenty of pillows, and the some of the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate extra beds or cots. The restaurant serves traditional British food, including seasonal local specialties, such as Cromer crab, mussels and lobsters. There are Norfolk steaks, chicken and pork, as well as a lunchtime menu of sandwiches, pizzas, and light meals and an evening A La Carte menu and desserts. An hour’s drive from Norwich, Great Bircham is also less than 10 minutes from the stately Houghton Hall and Gardens. The North Norfolk coast, with resorts including Hunstanton, is also within 20 minutes’ drive.
Myself Sandra, my husband Keith and son Paul are directors of The Kings Head Country Hotel. We have been running the hotel just over 3 years now. At The Kings Head Country Hotel, we take pride in ensuring everyone's stay is a special one. With our team of friendly staff and not forgetting the friendly locals, we like to give each guest an enjoyable and memorable stay. Our staff are all individually trained within their roles at the hotel and provide excellent customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for us and we are always there to accommodate and provide knowledge on places to visit within the area. For a special occasion, if you let us know in advance, we can provide the extra special finishing touches either in your room, such as petals on your bed for an anniversary, card, chocolates, a birthday cake anything for that special occasion or surprise. Charges may apply.

Accessibility
We have disabled car parking spaces. The entrance to the hotel is wheelchair accessible as with all the areas on the ground floor with a disabled toilet. There are no lifts in the property but 2 small stairways. Please contact the hotel for specific requirements.

Follow the route to A148. At the roundabout take the exit onto A148. Follow this road for around 4.3 miles. Turn left onto B1153 for 5 miles and The Kings Head Country Hotel will be on your left.
