The Masons Arms Hotel is largely of the 18th century, but possibly with earlier origins in the late 17th century, and is recorded as being well established by 1715. The hotel was original called the Bricklayers Arms, but had to change its name to the Masons Arms by at least 1794, after it has become the meeting place for the local Freemasons. he Masons has 10 beautiful contemporary en-suite bedrooms, a modern restaurant, the Habits cocktail lounge and a stunning Ballroom. Louth is a rural market town and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. Louth is the principal town and centre for a large rural area of eastern Lincolnshire. Visitor attractions include St James' Church, Hubbard's Hills, the market, many independent retailers, and Lincolnshire's last remaining cattle market. This beautiful Georgian market town is a gastro delight for ‘foodies' Hailed by TV Chef’s The Hairy Bikers as a “food mecca”, Louth is one of the UK’s best-loved foodie hot-spots and certainly not to be missed. Directions

  • Road from Grimsby (15.0 miles)

    Follow the A16 to Louth. 

    At Northfield roundabout, take the first exit. 

    Then take the first left onto Grimsby Road. 

    Follow this road up to the traffic lights next to the Church. At the traffic lights, go straight on. 

    Take the second left onto Mercer Row. You are now in Louth Town Centre. 


    Take the first right into the Corn Market. We will be situated directly in front of you. 

  • Road from Lincoln (27.8 miles)

    Take the A158 out of Lincoln and follow this road up to Wragby. Continue straight on at the traffic lights. 

    At Wragby, take the first exit at the roundabout onto A157. 

    Continue on this road until you reach a give way. At the give way, turn right onto A157. 

    Continue until the roundabout. At the roundabout, go straight on, taking the second exit. 

    Turn left onto St Mary's Lane. 

    At the end of St Mary's Lane, turn right onto Grimsby Road (B1520).

    Continue straight out at the traffic lights, past the Church. 

    Take the second left, onto Mercer Row. 

    Then take the first right into the Corn Market. 

    We will be situated directly in front of you in the Market. 

  • Road from Cadwell Park (5.7 miles)

    Turn right out of Cadwell Park, onto Horncastle Road (A153). 

    At the end of the road, turn right on Louth Bypass (A16). Then turn immediately left onto Horncastle Road.

    Follow this road, at the traffic lights, turn left. 

    Take the second right, onto Mercer Row. 

    Take the first left into the Corn Market. We will be situated directly in front of you in the Market.
