Timber Baron Inn Information

The Timber Baron Inn is your peaceful forest get-away. Enjoy stunning views of Lake Superior, Pikes Bay, and the Pikes Creek Valley. Located 3 miles south of Bayfield, the Inn sits at the foot of Big Top Chautauqua and Mt. Ashwabay; providing guests premiere access to the CAMBA mountain biking trails along with groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. For those that wish to keep their blood pressure under control, our king size beds, inviting accommodations, and mouth-watering breakfasts will be sure to make your worries disappear. We invite you to stay with us at the Timber Baron Inn and enjoy all that Bayfield and the Apostle Islands has to offer.

Anna: My husband (David) and I built the Timber Baron Inn in 2017 with David's parents. David is a born and raised Bayfield local and I'm a transplant from northwest Iowa. We met five years ago and three years ago we got married, built a house, lived with my in-laws for 3 months while finishing the house, opened a business, and adopted a cat! It's been a crazy ride but we love getting to do it with each other and we’re excited to share our place with all of our wonderful future guests. We are big baseball fans (GO BREWERS!) And love to run, hike, swim, cook, play games, and visit with family. Most of all, we LOVE where we live and want to share it with YOU!
