Groeslon Ty Mawr is a family run guest house (B&B) with a licensed restuarant. We are ideally situated in the heart of Snowdonia. The picturesque views from all our bedrooms and restaurant are quite breathtaking,Groeslon Ty Mawr is conveniently situated being only 10 minutes from Llanberis, Snowdon railway, Caernarfon castle, and Bangor university & city centre. Close by are Bangor and Caernarvon golf courses, Course fishing, Endless walks and Rambling routes,beautiful Sandy beaches and coves, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Penryn and Conway Castles. Many National Trust Properties Within a short drive away you can visit Betws y coed, Beddgelert, Llandudno theatre and bowling ally. Whatever your needs both Ruth and Mark will do all they can to make your holiday an enjoyable and homely breakaway Local history - hill forts, iron age settlements and roman road all nearby. Please NOTE WE ONLY ACCEPT DOGS in CERTAIN ROOMS and by arrangement only with the B & B. The fee to be paid direct to the B & B (cash). We reserve the right to refuse dogs which are booked into the wrong rooms. Room 5 and 6 are the only DOG friendly rooms.

Road from A 55 Bangor Junction 11 (3.3 miles)From Junction 11 A 55 at Bangor take slip road off , turning left keeping in the right hand lane signed A 5 at small roundabout take second exit left signed Llanberis, Pentir. Continue about 3 miles until you reach the roundabout, we are off the roundabout, the entrance to car park is off the Llanberis road . PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ALSO THE TEAROOMS AND RESTAURANT ON THE ROUNDABOUT WE ARE NOT THE FARMSTAY TY MAWR NEARBY - DO NOT GO THERE By train to Bangor 15 mins by taxi/bus
