Two stone cottages set in the heart of Dufftown, Speyside. An ideal town location perfect for romantic getaways and friendly adventures alike. A luxurious-nights sleep awaits with a sumptuous bed to sink into. 1 Wee-Kalf has the option for either a Super king or 2 x Single beds and 2 Wee-Kalf has a King size bed. There are 2 enclosed garden areas with a patio area, outdoor furniture and BBQ, a lovely place to unwind with a refreshing drink after the day’s adventures. Why not use this shared area in line with restrictions, as an open outdoor space to socialize (when deemed appropriate) with another household you want to holiday with, yet maintaining single household accommodation each with your own home. We love the luxury beds with freshly laundered linen and fluffy white towels, the convenience of the off road parking and the dog friendly enclosed garden area as well as the Smart TV, free reliable WiFi throughout cottage and patio area. The well-equipped kitchen complete with washing machine is convenient as well as the local shops, pubs and restaurants.

The entiire 1 Wee-Kalf or 2 Wee-Kalf accommodation is on the ground floor. It should be noted there are not specifically widened doors or accessibiilty features in shower.

  • Road from Aberdeen Airport (46.8 miles)

    via A96 and A920 by car


    - Take airport road to A96

    - Follow A96 to A920 Huntly

    - After Huntly roundabout take the next Left to A920, Dufftown

    - Follow A920 to T-Junction arriving into Dufftown

    - Turn Left onto Fife Street and follow until you come to the Clock Tower, Church Street is opposite the tower which is central to the town and can't be missed

    - Turn left onto Church Street, pass The Commercial, Take the next left, it is an entrance not a road

    - You will see 'The Milking Shed' sign on the gable end of the building from the road.  

    - You will see Silver metal gates, please take your car through these gates and park here in any area. 
    These gates can be opened or closed during your stay it is your preference, please do not part before the gates it is not our property.

    - On-street parking on Church Street is available too.  


  • Road from Inverness Airport (48.5 miles)

    Via A96 and A941

    - Continue to A96

    - Follow A96 to Edward Avenue / A941 in Moray

    - Follow A941 into Dufftown, this becomes Balvenie St as you pass The Balvenie & Glenfiddich Distilleries on the left, continue straight to the crossroads at the iconic Clock Tower

    - Go straight onto Church Street

    - Once on Church Street you will pass the Commercial, take the next entrance on the left, note it is not a road.  You will see the 'The Milking Shed' sign on the gable end of the building from here.  
    As you turn off the road you will see 2 silver metal gates.
    Please take your car through these gates and park here in any area. 
    These gates can be opened or closed during your stay it is your preference 
    On-street parking is available too.  Please do not park in the yard prior to sliver metal gates, this is not our property.

    Via A9 a very scenic route (181miles)

    - Join the M8 North then follow M80

    - Join A9 to Doune

    - Continue on A95 into Aberlour, keep on A95 until you can Turn right onto A941, Dufftown

    Via A90 (195 miles) this takes you through Stonehaven and via Aberdeen

    - Join the M8 at junction 12 take A80 to Riddrie/Stepps

    - Join M80 slip road to Kincardine Br / Stirling

    - Merge onto M80 - Merge onto M9

    - M90 heading to Aberdeen, Take the Exit towards Aberdeen A90

    - Continue onto A90, Use left lane to take the B979 slip road to A90 North / Inverness

    - Take Aberdeen Peripheral Road / A90 Slip

    - Take exit towards C89C and then follow A96

    - Follow A96 until arriving into Huntly turning left after roundabout to A920 to Dufftown

    - Follow A920 to Dufftown T-Junction, Turn Left onto Fife Street

    - Continue to the iconic clock tower, turning left onto Church Street, this is opposite clock tower

    - Take 2nd opening; you will see the Milking Sheds sign

    - Park through the silver gates

    - Join A90 and follow it going through Dundee and towards Aberdeen

    - At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route / A90 Slip road

    - Stay with Aberdeen Peripheral / A90

    - Take exit towards C89C Chapel of Stonewood

    - At Craibstone Roundabout take the exit to A96

    - Follow A96 passing through Huntly roundabout

    - Turn Left onto A920 following it to Dufftown, T-Junction

    - Turn Left onto the curving hill and this is you on Fife Street

    - Continue to the iconic clock tower, turning left onto Church Street, this is opposite the clock tower

    - Take 2nd opening; you will see the Milking Sheds sign- part through the silver gates
