AJ's Walleye Lodge Information

Description

AJ's Walleye Lodge has two major trump cards when it comes to snowmobiling: the first would be direct access to seven major trails within three miles - no need to ride the same trail every day to get to the good snow and trails; the second is this is where the good snow is found. Lake Superior provides the moisture, while the Porcupine Mountains provide the lift to the moist air and down comes the pretty white snow on our roof. Fishing on Lake Gogebic is everything one would expect from a lake that boasts more state angler awards than any other in the UP. Lake Gogebic offers excellent walleye, jumbo perch and smallmouth bass fishing, while the greater Gogebic area provides an endless variety of lakes and rivers for great year-round action. The area’s many waterfalls each possess their own unique beauty, while the mountain peaks provide breathtaking, panoramic views of the terrain. Spring and summer find the entire area a vibrant green, while autumn brings a more varied palette of red, orange, and gold.
