Alladale Wilderness Reserve Information

Description

Alladale Wilderness Reserve is located just an 80 minutes drive North of Inverness, and boasts a variety of experiences for you to enjoy. While our Alladale Lodge is perfect for a large family or group to enjoy a fully catered luxury home away from home, our high end, self-catered cottages Eagle's Crag and Ghilie's Rest are perfect to get away from it all. Bunk house Deanich offers a back to basic setting, 7 miles out from Alladale Lodge, and is located amidst breathtaking scenery. Alladale Lodge (sleeps a max of 14) The lodge offers 7 en-suite bedrooms and is designed to be your luxury home away from home. Chef Thomas Parker provides all meals, served in the large communal dining room. Privacy and exclusivity and guaranteed, while you enjoy the sauna, billiards room, TV-room, a variety of massage and beauty treatments (not included). Cottage Eagle's Crag (sleeps a max of 8) Eagle’s Crag is a three-bedroom cottage offering a lovely sense of privacy that is part and parcel of what the perfect Highland retreat should be. With the additional benefit of a large attic room it is the ideal family getaway. Eagle’s Crag offers wonderful comfort that is just what’s needed at the end of a long day hiking the hills. Cottage Ghillie's Rest (sleeps a max of 4) A beautifully appointed two-bedroom cottage alongside the River Alladale that affords stunning views all along the Glen. Ghillie’s Rest has been designed to offer an affordable and intimate Highland retreat providing easy access to the whole of Alladale Wilderness Reserve. There’s a galley kitchen with all necessary fixtures. Deanich Lodge (sleeps a max of 18) Available May to October, Deanich Lodge is one of the most remote buildings in Scotland – located where our red deer gather, and close to where the golden eagles nest – and has been sensitively restored with an interior both practical and authentic, making it possible to be truly ‘off-grid’ and wholly connected with nature.
