The King William IV Information

Description

The popular King William IV is a warm & friendly multi award winning, 9 bedroom Country Inn & Restaurant. Situated for more than 175 years in the historic village of Sedgeford, amid rolling countryside, yet less than a mile from the Peddars Way and a few miles from Norfolk's Beautiful Coast. You will immediately feel at home; log fires throughout the Winter, sunshine in the gardens during Summer. A la carte & daily specials are served for lunch and dinner in a choice of informal restaurants, bar, alfresco dining area and or garden. Real Ales, Wines & Posh Pop are available from the bar. Sleeping at The King William IV is comfortable in one of our nine luxury double bedrooms. All rooms are en-suite with bath/shower/WC, sound proofed and are furnished to a very high standard with local handmade pine furniture, King-Size beds, TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer and coffee/tea making facilities. Our bathrooms are sparkling and feature power Showers and 'The White Company' amenities. A wide range of information and local knowledge is available to assist your choice of leisure during your stay. Whether it's cycling the country lanes, walking the ancient Peddars Way, Nature Trail or Beach, driving the coast road through many picturesque villages with their galleries and shops, bird watching at the RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, or playing the challenging Championship Links courses at Old Hunstanton and Brancaster, its all within a short driving distance from our front door. Accessibility

Access to Reception area is from a concrete ramp. From here wheelchairs can enter the Garden restaurant and the Disabled WC. Handrails are provided on each stairway, whilst one stairway is extra wide to allow two people to go up the stairs at the same time.

Directions

  • Road from Kings Lynn (15.0 miles)
    Approaching from Kings Lynn - follow the A149 to Hunstanton and turn right at Norfolk Lavender in Heacham onto the B1454 signposted Docking, Sedgeford. After approx, 2 miles you will reach The King William IV on your right hand side. Approaching from Fakenham follow the B1454 signposted Docking through Docking into the village of Sedgeford.
