The Avonlea is a 1930’s detached house situated on a main road close to Banbury Town Centre. Whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests there are some features of the property which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility. The driveway and parking area up to the house is covered with shingle and there is a step up to the front door, approximately 9" high. We have one ground floor room with doorways of average width but would not be suitable for wheelchair access. This room has an ensuite shower room, there is a step into the shower of approx. 8". There are two hand rails, one either side of the staircase up to the first floor bedrooms and each ensuite has a step up into the shower, again approx. 8" high.
Road from M40 (1.0 miles)Junction 11 M40, head towards Banbury, go straight over 2 roundabouts and turn left at the 3rd roundabout (This is opposite Tesco). Carry on this road for about 1/2 mile towards the town centre and the Avonlea Guest House will be found on the left after B & Q, Halfords and Homebase.
