Sitting on a leafy crescent in a peaceful part of town, our highly recommended bed & breakfast and self-catering cottage is a home away from home. This is a comfortable, relaxing place and the perfect spot from which to explore the rest of Norfolk. Whether you’re staying with us for just two nights or a longer leisurely break, we make sure that everyone gets a proper taste of good Norfolk hospitality. We want your stay with us to be as comfortable as possible. So no matter which room you choose to stay in, we’re happy to say that each of them are of the same high standard. We have two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom all en-suite. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and come with crisp bed linen, plenty of plump pillows and a whole host of home comforts. These include Freeview TV, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled mineral water, biscuits, a radio alarm, hair dryer and Free Wi-Fi . The shower rooms come with fluffy cotton towels and bath robes and complimentary toiletries, and if needed, we can provide ironing facilities too.

• The house is entered via the main door. This a double door with one 4 inch door step. There is small inner lobby which proceeds to the main entrance hall. The floor is level with tiles and wood flooring with rugs as floor covering. The main entrance hall is 15 feet by 20 feet and has double doors into the guest's lounge. There are 4 other doors not for use by guests. • Assistance is available if required. There is seating in the hall and writing materials are available • Lighting is good with suitable overall lighting. • Guest are escorted to their room and an explanation of facilities given • Proprieters are resident at night.

Road from London (120.0 miles)From London, Take M11 & A47 or the A12 to Gt. Yarmouth. On entering Gt. Yarmouth, at the roundabout follow the signs to Caister and the Racecourse. Pass through 3 sets of traffic lights and Barnard House is situated just off Caister Road to the right, directly after the last set of lights. Barnard House is about two and a half hours from London and only 30 minutes from Norwich.
