Beecroft Lodge Information

Description

We welcome you to relax in our 2014 4* Silver Award 8-bedroom Licenced guest house in a quiet location. All bedrooms are en-suite. We encourage you to leave the car behind as we are only a few minutes’ walk to the local beaches, Pier and Paignton town centre. The popular steam railway is approximately 10 minutes’ walk together with the bus and mainline train stations. Why not take a ride on a ferry to Brixham or Torquay from the harbour and enjoy our Devon coast by sea. To make sure your stay is enjoyable, we provide you with comfortable, well equipped, en-suite rooms, the freedom to come and go as you please, good food and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Whether you are new guests or have visited before, we look forward to welcoming you to Beecroft Lodge. Children of 5 years of age and above are welcome. Sorry so Infants.

Accessibility

We are located on a slight hill so may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. We have a ground floor single room with an electric shower with a grab rail. The washbasin has lever taps. The double room located on the ground floor also has an electric shower with a grab rail and the washbasin has lever taps. Please see our website for our full Access Statement

Directions

  • Train from Railway Station (0.5 miles)
    Turn left out of Paignton train station, follow the direction of traffic. At the library, take the first left into Station Lane (parallel with the railway line). At the end of Station Lane turn left and across the railway crossing. Keep the flats on your left, pass the cricket field and the art shop on your right. Take the second turn on the right (after the Church) into St. Andrews Road. Beecroft Lodge is approx 100 yards (90 metres) up the hill on the right
  • Road from Exeter (22.0 miles)
    M5 merge onto the A38, Keep in right hand lane then branch left onto the A380 (Torquay). At the Gallows Gate roundabout take the 2nd exit for Paignton. At Preston Down roundabout take the 1st exit to Preston sea front. Make your way to the sea. Keeping the sea on your left, drive the full length of the Esplanade passing a large hotel, pier, cinema and crazy golf on your left. At the mini roundabout turn right in to Sands Road. St Andrews Road is the 2nd turning on the left
