Room One is a deceptively spacious room with double bed, located in the main 1657 dated building. With its quirky angles, sloped ceilings, and dark wood furniture; it makes for a very cosy room to spend the night. The room is completed by one of the still remaining original fireplaces, and enjoys a pretty en-suite bathroom with shower and bath.

Room Five is the other of the two Boutique Double rooms in the main building. Sited in the true original part of the White Lion when it was built as a farmhouse, and adorned with sloping floors and ceilings; you really are made aware of the age of the 1657 dated building. Cosy, yet spacious enough; Room 5 offers a double bed and tub chair within it’s original thick stone walls and original Yorkshire ‘farm’ windows. Completed with a pretty en-suite bathroom with rain shower over the bath.

Room three is another very spacious room in the main 1657 dated building. Aptly, the room benefits from superb light from its three huge original Tudor windows, that span the entire length of the room. As a suite, Room 3 benefits from a king sized Sleigh bed, 2-seater sofa, and individual tub chair. But you could always choose to perch on one of the three windowsills and while the time away with a good book. Completing the room is a spacious bathroom with antler adorned Victorian Roll-Top bath, and separate rain shower.

Room Two represents the very best room available at the White Lion. It is a huge room overlooking the front of the building through it’s bowed Tudor window. Complete with king size sleigh bed, country sofa and wing-back armchair, vintage dressing table, and a hidden 72” plasma television in addition to the DVD television; the room does represent real luxury. This is continued into the bathroom, with the stunning Victorian Roll-Top bath and separate rain shower.

Room Nine offers flat access without any stairs to negotiate, and can be configured as either a double or twin room. Decorated in country colours, Room 9 is deceptively spacious and is regularly enjoyed by those wishing to stay for a number of nights. Summer mornings are stunning in the Courtyard Rooms; with the warmth, and sounds of Hebden Water running 10ft away from your front door.
