Chycara House Information

Description

Chycara is an ideal place for exploring the many famous gardens, beautiful coastline and other attractions. Our leisure faility has a swimming pool, hot tub and sauna and there is a treatment room for massage and homeopathic treatments. The Bissoe cycle path, linking both coasts is on our doorstop. All our 2/3 bed self-catering lodges have fully equipped kitchens, 2 or 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and ensuites, lounge and living areas, together with Wifi and televisions. Our 1 bed self-catering lodges have ensuite shower rooms, kitchen diner area and double beds with Wifi & flat screen television The gardens are a mixture of formal gardens, lakes, established and newly planted woodland. There are tracks throughout Chycara with a chance to view the wildlife, including, visiting deer and a resident badger set. Our top fields also afford magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. PLEASE NOTE THAT SATELLITE NAVIGATION CAN BE UNRELIABLE. Accessibility

Oak Lodge - Garden Lodge - Willow Lodge - Hidden Hut. All these Lodges have ground level entry, with only a small threshold step into the main door. An additional access ramp can be provided iif necessary Lake Lodge has a single step to the threshold and we have a portable ramp to enable wheelchair access. An accessibility statement is available on request.

Directions

  • Road from Truro (4.0 miles)

    From the M5 after Exeter take junction 31 marked A30 and travel for about 85 miles From the A30 turn left at Carland Cross onto the A39 (signposted Truro & Falmouth.)
    At the end of this road you will reach a T-junction and turn right onto the A39. Follow the road through Truro past two roundabouts, where you will start going up a hill on the bypass.
     
    At the top there is a crossroads with two mini roundabouts. Turn left onto the road marked Falmouth (A39) You will reach a roundabout at Playing Place. Carry on a few yards to a second roundabout where there is a Shell garage on the left and take the last exit onto a road marked Bissoe and Chacewater.

    Follow the road for about a mile until you reach a crossroads with a church on the corner. Carry straight on and follow the road for 0.7 miles. Go through the stream in the road and take an immediate right.


    Once you arrive on site with us, please use the map below to find your lodge. The keys will be in the door for you.
