Exceptional family gîte overlooking the common garden, with covered private terrace. Ideal for a family of 4 people. Or for 2 people needing (much) space. Air conditioning. The successful marriage of fine Alsatian tradition, heritage and beautiful modern comfort. Wifi. With more than 95 square meters + outside terrace, the Lucky Dragon is the second largest apartment in our new Remparts 1291 property. It is accessible via a private terrace overlooking the garden (the garden gives access to all the apartments of the property). The apartment itself is spread over 3 levels. Upon entry, one reaches a spacious kitchen with its large dining area housed in a glazed extension overlooking the garden. At the same level is a comfortable lounge and a romantic small alcove serving as a small bedroom for 2 persons (comfortable separate beds 90 x 200 cm). A bathroom with shower and toilet complete the layout of this first level (not adjacent to bedroom, check layout). Upstairs is a nice bedroom (king size double bed 180 x 200 cm) and a beautiful bathroom with a toilet. The bathroom offers a bath and a large separate shower, two sinks and a large closet for the storage of clothes, ideal for long stays. If necessary, in the attick, there are 2 comfortable single beds (90 x 200 cm) are available for quiet grown-up children. Although the Lucky Dragon benefits from a good natural insulation, the living room and the attic (extra beds) are airconditioned. The main bedroom has no airconditioning since it is hardly necessary. --- Specific to our LUCKY DRAGON house ------ The LUCKY DRAGON is a charming vacation house with top comfort for 2 people. It is also ideal for a family stay with grandparents, parents and older children (but the apartment is not suitable for very young children due to safety issues). At the Remparts de Riquewihr, we offer 9 outstanding holiday homes, in historic buildings located on the ramparts. They offer you the pairing of Alsatian tradition with modern comfort, charm and elegance. IN RIQUEWIHR, Alsace, OUR HOLIDAY APARTMENTS ARE DISTRIBUTED IN 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS 1/ - Charming and elegant vacation rentals of the Rempart of the Year 1291 They form a set of 6 exceptional lodgings around a small garden: 4 of them are located in an old Renaissance house built in the year 1580 on the first rampart of Riquewihr erected in 1291. The property faces the famous vineyard the Schoenenbourg which dominates the village; 2 other apartments complete the series in an adjacent house dating from the 17th century. All these lodgings have been designed to meet the new 5-star standards for the furnished tourist apartments category. A small garden with a medieval design gives an exquisite touch of refinement to this original ensemble. The « LUCKY DRAGON***** » house is located here. 2/ - The holiday homes of the Rempart of the Year 1500 A set of 3 romantic, elegant and comfortable lodgings, decorated in the purest Alsatian tradition. These exceptional lodgings are located on the second belt of ramparts of Riquewihr, completed in the year 1500. The walls on the west side of our gîtes are made of the rampart itself. The facades on the east side have the appearance of typical Alsatian half-timbered houses. They are quietly located.
