Romantic and very comfortable holiday apartment with 2 small balconies. Ideal for 2 people in every season. Official 5-star classification. Airconditioned. Wifi. Located on the first floor of our large Renaissance house built on the ramparts (1291) just near the Schœnenbourg vineyard, this lovely apartment for 2 people occupies the site of the medieval householder's lodging. A few steps above the garden, the apartment faces south and west. It is extremely bright, thanks to its glazed living room, built as a winter garden on the first level of the great oriel window (large Alsatian bow window) which adorns the south facade of the building. The small entrance lobby further enhances the privacy of the holiday home, all dressed in shades of braun colors, beige and white. The little kitchen is very well equipped: refrigerator / freezer, microwave oven, induction cooking stove and oven, washing-dryer machine and dish washer! Of course, all the utensils needed are there, including everything to prepare a good breakfast: toaster, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler and tea pot ... Just behind an old timbered wall opening onto the lounge is the dining area: simply reach out to catch the toast! A cosy couch is waiting for you in front of the flat-screen TV. On sunny days, do not hesitate to have breakfast on the small covered balcony, perfect also for a snack outdoors. After a busy day of sightseeing and excursions, the bedroom, romantic and luxurious, offers a very comfortable queen size bed (160 x 200 cm) with a beautiful small bathroom en suite. Old timber, wall paneling and solid oak flooring create a warm atmosphere in any season and help make this apartment a comfortable little cocoon. The apartment is air conditioned.

At the Remparts de Riquewihr, we offer 9 outstanding holiday homes, in historic buildings located on the ramparts. IN RIQUEWIHR, Alsace, OUR HOLIDAY APARTMENTS ARE DISTRIBUTED IN 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS 1/ - Charming and elegant vacation rentals of the Rempart of the Year 1291 They form a set of 6 exceptional lodgings around a small garden: 4 of them are located in an old Renaissance house built in the year 1580 on the first rampart of Riquewihr erected in 1291. The property faces the famous vineyard the Schoenenbourg which dominates the village; 2 other apartments complete the series in an adjacent house dating from the 17th century. All these lodgings have been designed to meet the new 5-star standards for the furnished tourist apartments category. A small garden with a medieval design gives an exquisite touch of refinement to this original ensemble. The LITTLE WOLF***** is located on these ramparts from the year 1291. 2/ - The holiday homes of the Rempart of the Year 1500 A set of 3 romantic, elegant and comfortable lodgings, decorated in the purest Alsatian tradition. These exceptional lodgings are located on the second belt of ramparts of Riquewihr, completed in the year 1500. The walls on the west side of our gîtes are made of the rampart itself. The facades on the east side have the appearance of typical Alsatian half-timbered houses. They are quietly located.
