Charming apartment for 2 pers with a small private space in front of the house and access to the common garden. Comfort and easy access (ground floor / garden). Suitable for people having difficulties with stairs. Wifi. The Little Bear is right on the small and quiet square of the Winegrowers (place des Vignerons). The Little Bear gite has two independent entrances. It is accessible by 3 steps on the front or from the side by a small paved ramp. Although not fully meeting the standards of handicaped access with use of an autonomous wheelchair, this apartment was designed to facilitate the stay of people who have difficulty climbing stairs: no step inside the apartment, large walk-in shower. This very new apartment meets high level equipment standards as most of our other holiday apartments (see list further down for precise details). Nevertheless, as the Little Bear is very well and naturally protected from the heat due to its location within the house we have chosen not to install airconditioning. In the common garden of our property we have organised a small private space with 2 garden chairs. The former main entrance hall is now organized as a dining room in a kind of winter garden. It gives access to the little terrace (see pictures).

At the Remparts de Riquewihr, we offer 9 outstanding holiday homes, in historic buildings located on the ramparts. They offer you the pairing of Alsatian tradition with modern comfort, charm and elegance. IN RIQUEWIHR, Alsace, OUR HOLIDAY APARTMENTS ARE DISTRIBUTED IN 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS 1/ - Charming and elegant vacation rentals of the Rempart of the Year 1291 They form a set of 6 exceptional lodgings around a small garden: 4 of them are located in an old Renaissance house built in the year 1580 on the first rampart of Riquewihr erected in 1291. The property faces the famous vineyard the Schoenenbourg which dominates the village; 2 other apartments complete the series in an adjacent house dating from the 17th century. All these lodgings have been designed to meet the new 5-star standards for the furnished tourist apartments category. A small garden with a medieval design gives an exquisite touch of refinement to this original ensemble. The « LITTLE BEAR***** » apartment is located here. 2/ - The holiday homes of the Rempart of the Year 1500 A set of 3 romantic, elegant and comfortable lodgings, decorated in the purest Alsatian tradition. These exceptional lodgings are located on the second belt of ramparts of Riquewihr, completed in the year 1500. The walls on the west side of our gîtes are made of the rampart itself. The facades on the east side have the appearance of typical Alsatian half-timbered houses. They are quietly located.
