Description
Aln House dates from 1904 and is an impressive property of the Edwardian era. There are six guest bedrooms each offering our guests the personal touches and attention to detail you would expect from a small friendly Bed & Breakfast. All rooms are well equipped with flat screen TV's, free Wi-Fi, Bathrobes, Mineral Water and Tea & Coffee facilities with fresh milk. We provide guests with a choice of breakfast options using local produce from award winning Turnbull's butchers and are happy to adapt our menu to suit guests tastes.Our eggs come from free range hens and are also locally sourced. We believe that breakfast at Aln House is meant to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience designed to set you up for the day ahead. Should you need an earlier start we will do our utmost to accommodate you. Aln House is only two minutes by car from the A1 and a only a ten minute walk into Alnwick town centre. The train station at Alnmouth is 4 miles away which gives direct access to Edinburgh, Newcastle, York and London. We are ideally located for many of Northumberland’s popular attractions and places of interest such as Alnwick Gardens and Treehouse, Alnwick Castle & Bamburgh Castle. We are a ten minute drive to the nearest beach at idyllic Alnmouth and close to several National Trust Properties. Further away, but well worth a visit, are Hadrian's Wall and the Cheviot Hills,ideal countryside with breathtaking views for walkers and hikers. There really are so many things to do here it makes Alnwick an all year-round destination to come and enjoy. **Please be advised that there is a 35% deposit which will be charged at the time of booking**
