Henblas Holiday Cottage is a converted welsh stone farm building originally built C1860. It sleeps up to 6 people, with a cot available (if required) for our younger visitors. We are situated above the old market town of Abergele & nearby villages of Rhyd y Foel & Llanddulas and surrounded by farm land, fWith its stunning views along the North Wales coast, over towards Cheshire, the Wirral and across the hills to the village of Betws yn Rhos and the beautiful Denbigh Moors, this area of North Wales offers you a choice of ways in which to relax and enjoy your holiday. There is something for everyone. Walking, swimming, bike riding, horse riding and nearby trout fishing. Play a round of golf at the nearby Golf Club in Abergele. Visit the dry ski slope in Llandudno or the nearby Nature Reserve at Conwy. Visit the 13th Century Castle in the historic town of Conwy, Bodnant Gardens at Tal-y-Cafn, Conwy Water Gardens and Dutch Pancake House, Anglesey Sea Zoo at Brynsiencyn or the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay. Take a drive to the Conwy Valley and experience Surf Snowdonia, Bounce Below in a massive underground slate cavern at Bleanau Ffestiniog or Zip World at Bethesda travelling at up to 100 mph 500 feet above ground. These are just a few of the many attractions North Wales has to offer and all within easy reach of the cottage. You may decide to take a gentle stroll through the country lanes around the cottage, or through the surrounding woodland. Why not try and find your way down to the “tower” and enjoy the stunning views along the coast line. You can have breakfast/lunch/dinner on the patio. Relax and enjoy the sound of the early morning birdsong (or in the evening if you are not an early riser !). Watch the sun set over the surrounding hills and fields at the end of the day, or even set your alarm clock for an early morning start and experience a spectacular sunrise.

On arrival at Henblas our guests receive a warm welcome from both Jake and myself and are shown around the property. We aim to provide guests with as much information as possible on what North Wales has to offer. So, whether you are here to relax and chill out or hit the road running and discover as much about the history and culture of North Wales as possible, we can point you in the right direction.

Chester to AbergeleSatNav Co-ordinates: N53° 16.801´ W 003° 37.274´Follow the A55 signposted North Wales and exit at Junction 24 signposted Abergele.At the bottom of the slip road keep left and continue through the town of Abergele until you reach a mini roundabout (Tesco). At this roundabout go straight ahead and continue until you see the castle entrance on the left. Turn left here into Ffordd Tanrallt (Tanrallt Road). Approximately 300yds up this road bear right up passed Abergele Golf Club and continue on this road for 1 mile until you reach Betws Lodge on your left (large black painted double gates). Approx 50 yds on turn right at the road junction signposted Caravan Club Site and continue on for a further 1/2 a mile passing the Caravan Club site on your left, with a white farmhouse up on your right. Continue on round the bends and take the next turning on your right into the private drive marked Henblas Farm (maroon in colour, gold lettering and a Black & white cow). Continue along the drive and you will see 4 caravans in the field in front of you, keeping these on your left follow the drive round, passed the red and white "Private" sign right up to the top. Turn in left by the white double gates into the yard.You have arrived !Conwy to AbergeleFollow the A55 and exit at Junction 23 signposted Llanddulas and follow the road under the By-pass to the mini roundabout (Shell Garage). Take 2nd turning and continue on the main road through the village of Llanddulas (B5443) towards Abergele, continue until you see the castle entrance on the right.
