The Back Packer Econo Rooms (112 & 113 & 512) are cozy and have a private bathroom with shower. These rooms have a double bed or can be changed to two twin beds as might be needed for extended stays. #112 & #113 are wheelchair accessible and open onto the main lobby. #115 is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has a nice garden view with a peek-a-boo view of Lake Atitlan. Both the shower and toilet area are "roll-in" design as well as having ample support railings (A shower chair is available on request). The Room has a nice corner fireplace, a full closet and a roll-up hand-sink. Even though the room allows for up to three (3) occupants it is suggested for there to be only two (2) thus allowing more movement area for a wheelchair. The room location allows for unimpeded wheelchair access into the restaurant and bar areas, as well as the entrance ramp to the street below. There are other hotel rooms that can be reached without the need to use stairs. A guest in #115 can easily be part of most activities within the hotel and can visit their friends and family who are guests as well. There is a large flat screen with cable and available WIFI to help make guests in #115 feel at home.

The Queens Suite (#222) is a more than ample room with windows running along on two sides. It has two balconies with room for hammocks, large inside and outside sitting areas, a nice fireplace, an ample bathroom with interesting design features, and views to the north and west that afford the full vista of the three Lake Atitlan volcanoes as well as about half of the villages around the lake shore. The Queens Suite is standard with a large queen-size bed and living room furniture; it is large enough to support a second full size bed or two twin beds is needed.

The Kings Suite (#233) is an oversized room that has many alcoves and sitting areas. It has one large balcony with views to the north, and a Queen Ann’s style balcony that opens to a westerly view overlooking Lake Atitlan and its famous sunsets. This room has windows on three sides that offer a wide expansive view of the whole of Lake Atitlan. Located in one of the alcoves is a built in writing desk from which to ponder your next novel, or simply sit while writing on your WiFi connected computer, and showing jealous friends back home what they are missing. The private in-suite bathroom is well appointed; the centrally located fireplace can quickly put a warm glow throughout the room. There is a large hydro-massage tub in one corner of the room so that one can pass those most relaxing times away from everything, except for those breath-taking sunsets and lake-views. This suite is truly fit for a reigning monarch or even an occasional pretender to the throne. The Kings Suite is furnished with a queen-size bed and living room furniture. There is more than enough room for additional beds so as to meet a variety of configurations.

The Regent's Realm is in the center of the renown "Tree House". This spacious room is available as a separate unit or in conjunction with other units in the Tree House with special access to the private bar, food service (including private chef and servers), game area, and expansive two story floor to ceiling views to the lake. The Regent's Realm has a deep soaking tub and Make-up mirror and sink which are near the fireplace, as well as a more standard private shower and toilet area which are separate. The balcony extends over the garden area and often affords the ability to pick fresh fruit from the adjacent trees. One should contact the front desk directly when considering reserving the Regent's Realm, as there as so many possible combinations and configurations.

The Crown Room (#333) is named because of its placement in the tops (crown) of the large ficus trees that run three stories tall through Tower Three (also known as “The Tree House”). One does not need to rent the whole Tree House to be able to enjoy the Crown Room, which can sleep up to seven (7) adults. Large picture windows on the west and north sides of Tower Three give the Crown Room very spectacular views to the Lake front below and afford views of the larger boat traffic entering the nearby public docks. A wheel chair can enter the Crown Room utilizing the “back ramp”, so that even granddad can be with and enjoy the family vacation. The large oversized fireplace can add a warming glow to the whole room and especially the sitting area where guests can kick back and enjoy the comfortable seats and delve into those wonderful family memories that are part of a stay at Hotel Nuestro Sueno.

The Eagle’s Nest (#531) is a large apartment like suite, which as its name implies, is at the very top of the hotel area. Located over thirty meters above the water of Lake Atitlan, the views and ambience of this suite rival any on the lake. The suite has stylish native furnishings, private bathrooms, a separate toilet room and soaking tub built into a glass enclosure with spectacular views, and a very large fireplace which occupies half the southern wall. Along with the expansive window views of the whole lake and much of the village below, the suite has a large balcony which extends out into and over the grove of large ficus tree tops which are the basis for the “Tree House”; and even higher up there is a second “sailors perch or Crow’s Nest” balcony which is accessed up a security ladder on the main balcony. When relaxing in one of the hammocks or large wicker chairs, you will experience the grandeur and magnificent aura of the mighty eagle. More than monarchs, the Eagles Nest is the abode of the world dominant emperor or potentate or the “Walter Mitty” within us all. Come, you deserve the moment.

The Garden Room (#311) is a large suite located, as its name implies, at the side of the main garden patio area of the hotel. The suite has windows running the whole side of the room at the side of the garden and patio area, including a large bay-window in the center. There is a large fireplace, queen size bed, an entertainment center, built in mosaic covered desk, wheelchair friendly bathroom with a ramp into the shower, and sumptuous furnishings. There is also a peak-a-boo view to the lake. This suite is fully ADA compliant.
