Alternative Driving Route to Little Pebble House

The narrow streets of Mevagisseys’ 14c working fishing village can be challenging at times and none more so than in the height of the summer months, there is a detour to solve this dilemma for you which has a detour of about 7 miles 😊

Take the B3273 from St. Austell, to Mevagissey, after passing through Pentewan at the brow of the  hill  before  the  village, turn  right  at  the  crossroads  signposted  Lost  Gardens  of  Heligan,  Portmellon  and Gorran,  continue  past  the  entrance  for  Heligan  on  your  left  and  follow  signs  for Gorran.
    •    You will pass through Gorran Churchtown and pass by Gorran Haven
    •    When you reach Gorran, bear sharp left following the signpost for Portmellon.
    •    After you have come down a very steep hill with the sea on your right, into the bay of Portmellon, continue around the harbour with the sea on your right.
    •    Just BEFORE Rising Sun pub on your left, TURN LEFT into Portmellon Park Road.
    •    Follow Portmellon Park Road up the steep hill and when the road flattens out it will become Higher Well Park Road
    •    Stay on this road for approx. 40 yards and at the sharp right-hand bend, take the road straight in front of you into LOWER WELL PARK ROAD
    •    You will find Little Pebble House on your right, 6 bungalows along
    •    Little Pebble House has black gates and a hedge with a sign outside
    •    If you wish, do  park  in  the  driveway  OR  just  park  on  the  road,  its  Free Parking!
