Mulsford Cottage Bed & Breakfast Information

The beautifully restored cottage has one family room with double and single beds and adjacent shower room; there is also a double room with a king size bed and large en-suite bathroom. Guests can also enjoy complimentary WiFi, television and log fires in a private living room area. Head over to our guest reviews page to see why over 60 guests have rated Mulsford the number one B&B in the Malpas area. We also have a Summer House in our spacious garden with shower and washing facilities nearby; and our beautiful new fully appointed Shepherd's Hut in its own garden with spectacular views. Both the Summer House and Shepherd's Hut are dog friendly. Mulsford’s owner, professional chef Kate Dewhurst, also offers simple suppers by appointment, starting at £18 per head. We look forward to welcoming you to Mulsford Cottage Bed & Breakfast!

Mulsford is our family home and we like to treat guests as welcome friends. We have a large garden, fruit trees and our own bees for honey. We have a small terrier cross and sometimes have my son's dog Figgy staying so I am afraid we no longer have dogs in the house. They are however welcome to stay in the self-catering Summer House and/or Shepherd's Hut. We also have 2 elderly Ryeland sheep in the paddock to eat down the long grass; Ryelands were originally bred in the middle ages by monks in Herefordshire for their dark wool, our ladies are mainly decorative! The surrounding countryside is quiet and rural with plenty of places to walk or cycle. I am a professional cook and appy to cook evening meals by arrangement.
