Muntham Holiday Apartments Information


The Muntham apartments are situated in the affluent Wellswood area of Torquay close to the area known locally as Wellswood Village. This leafy sought after area of Torquay is just a five minute drive from Torquay harbour and town centre and boast facilties such as a pub, post office,delicatessen, hair salons, bistros, cafes, patisserie and so much more. The apartments are a short stroll from this as well as key bus routes that means it is possible for guests to explore the area without needing to use the car. The property was originally built in 1840s for a Victorian Member of Parliament for Torquay and was a private residence for many years before being converted into holiday apartments. Today, the accommodation combines a wealth of beautiful period features including original ornate plaster work and a grand sweeping staircase with up to the minute facilities demanded by modern travellers. Surrounded nearly an acre of grounds the villa has lots of sun terraces and quiet spots to enjoy the sun or even have a picnic. On offer is accommodation ranging from an extremely spacious Townhouse which can accommodate up to five people in sublime comfort. This accommodation is fully self contained and has the added benefit of its own terrace and gardens. There are also two large one bedroom grand apartments on the ground floor which are ideal for guests who find the stairs an ordeal. On the first floor are two one bedroom apartments plus two studio apartments. Every apartment comes with a luxury pocket sprung bed to ensure a perfect night's sleep as well as a lounge with sofa, dining room table and chairs, DVD player and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher* (*excluding apartment 5). A large car park with CCTV is available meaning that secure off road parking is available for every apartment.

We have a one bedroom apartments on the ground floor with only one stepup to the front door all other apartments are on the first floor and the Town House is over 3 floors The car park is on the level.
