They are modern rooms with ensuite bathrooms with shower over bath ideal for those looking for a quieter room. This twin room can be converted to a double, however please confirm when booking if your require two single beds or one king size bed.

Our heritage deluxe family room is located at the front of the Old Ram on a split level. Downstairs there is a seating area ideal for reading with views across the fields. Behind the hidden cupboard door is a set of bunk beds idea for children aged 16 and under. Also on this level is a large ensuite bathroom with shower over bath. Up the open staircase and there is a large master bedroom with a high vaulted beamed ceiling with views over the front to the fields. There is a comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV, wardrobe and dressing table. Please note that due to the historic features of the bedroom, stair gates cannot be fitted so the room is not suitable for toddlers.

Our heritage standard family room is located at the front of the Old Ram on a split level. Downstairs there are two single beds, ideal for adults or older children, with wall mounted TV and ensuite bathroom with shower over bath for both rooms to share. Up the staircase and there is a master bedroom with low vaulted ceiling, comfortable double bed, flat screen TV and hospitality tray. There is also a small seating area on the upper level ideal for reading. Please note that owing to the layout and features of this room is it unsuitable for children under 5 as stair gates cannot be fitted to the staircases.

The Old Ram Coaching Inn Information
Description
Nestled in the Norfolk countryside, a mile from the village of Tivetshall St Mary and a 25-minute drive from Norwich, The Old Ram is a listed inn dating back to the 17th century. We offer free parking, a bar and restaurant, and a very spacious patio with outdoor seating area. Each room at The Old Ram features free highspeed Wi-Fi, flat screen Smart TV, hospitality tray and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries but no single use plastics.. A hearty breakfast is served daily and includes a full English breakfast, cooked to order. The historic bar has an extensive wine list including Prosecco while our restaurant’s menu features dishes from locally sourced suppliers. Please note there is a limited food and beverage offer after 4pm on Sundays, We have recently installed hyperfast broadband and all rooms are connected for free. Wifi speeds are approx 400Mbps in most areas - ideal for working away from home. The historic town of Diss is 14 minutes’ drive away and Ipswich is 40 minutes’ drive from the property, while for walkers the Inn is a major stop for those walking the historic Boudicca Way.

Road from Norwich (15.0 miles)Simply take the A140 Ipswich Road south bound through Newton Flotman and Long Stratton. The Old Ram is on your right hand side about a mile after the roundabout.
