A well equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, full size fridge freezer, microwave, slow cooker, washing machine and separate dining area with table and comfortable seating for four people. Wet-room. Includes WC, wash hand basin and walk-in shower making these facilities suitable for those with limited mobility. Upstairs - Bedroom. Offering twin or super-king beds (travel cot available on request). En-suite shower, WC and wash hand basin with stunning views of the river and countryside beyond. Outdoors – Garden. The cottage is situated in a private half acre site directly adjacent the river Wear and laid mainly to lawn, a stone patio with picnic table is provided with fantastic views overlooking the river. Private fishing is available by request. Off road parking is available for two cars.

Close by we have Low Barns nature reserve, Witton Castle, Witton Castle Trout Fishery, Hamsterly Forest, Auckland Castle with the imminent arrival of Kynren and epic tale of England and within a short drive Durham City and Beamish Open Air Museum.
