Apartment 1A, on the ground floor at the front with seaview has a back door directly to the back yard with a ramp on either side. The door width is 695mm. Inside the apartment it is possible to provide on request a bath bench, bath chair, toilet frame, and portable raised toilet seat


  • Road from Tyne Tunnel (5.0 miles)

    By car

    From the south.

    On exiting the Tyne Tunnel, continue north on the A19 for 1 mile to the roundabout. Take the right onto the A1058 direction Tynemouth.

    From the north,

    Take the A19 direction Tyne Tunnel, and at the roundabout with the A1058, take the exit left towards Tynemouth A1058.

    From Newcastle

    Take the coast road A1058 direction Tynemouth.

    On the A1058, about 1 mile after the junction of the A1058 and the A19,  at the end of the dual carriageway, keep in the left or centre lane and go straight on at the traffic lights. After 1 mile go straight over the next roundabout. After another mile go straight over the roundabout just after the Shell garage. After 300 metres, at the next roundabout turn left. Go past the church, through the pedestrian traffic lights and the apartments are 100 metres on the left. Parking is possible on the road in front of the apartments with the parking permit that is in the apartment.

    From Newcastle Airport

    By car, head towards Newcastle and follow directions to Tynemouth and the Coast.

    By Metro
    From the airport, by metro, take the metro to South Gosforth, change platforms by crossing bridge, then take  the metro to Cullercoats (signed “St. James via the Coast”)

    By Metro
    From Newcastle Central Railway Station take the Metro signed “St. James via The Coast” to Cullercoats.

    From Cullercoats Metro station.
    If your last stop was Whitley Bay, exit and turn immediately right into Marden Terrace.
    If last stop was Tynemouth, walk up ramp, turn left past shops.
    At main road, Marden Avenue, turn left & walk towards sea, then at seafront, you will find apartments fourth door to the right.
