Southview Guest House was built in 1905 when Lynton was expanding in the Edwardian Era so as to provide additional accommodation for the burgeoning tourist trade. It has been a welcoming abode for most of its hundred year history and continues to provide comfortable, modernised accommodation to both local and foreign tourists. High ceilinged rooms reflect the comfort of a bygone era which can still be enjoyed by the many visitors to a region known as 'Little Switzerland'. Whether its a long stay to enjoy the local walks and history, a relaxing weekend for a couple or family or a one night stopover on your adventure trip around Devon, South View will meet your requirements.We are situated close to LYNTON TOWN HALL a popular venue for weddings so are ideal for families and guests looking for accomodation. The property has recently been totally refurbished with new heating,carpets and flooring and redecoration throughout.We aim to offer a relaxing and comfortable break in the lovely surroundings of Lynton and the Exmoor area We have limited on-site parking.Please ask if you require parking at time of booking.

Road from Barnstaple (18.6 miles)Take A 39 from Barnstaple directly to Lynton. Once in Lee Road (main high street) look out for Post Office on right and South View is another 50 yards further on left hand side of road.

Road from Minehead (17.8 miles)Take A39 along coast to Lynmouth and then up hill to Lynton. South View is on right hand side of the road 50 yards up from Costcutters Shop.
