At The Priory Inn, your comfort and relaxation is of paramount importance. We want you to make the most of your stay and completely recharge your batteries. To this end, all our 14 ensuite non-smoking rooms have been designed to ensure that you sleep well and wake fully refreshed. We hope that you find your bedroom a calming and comfortable space. Our artwork and textiles are chosen to bring a bold pop of colour to our American walnut furniture – simple but stylish. Of course the world doesn’t stop turning just because you are away, so keep in touch via our Internet terminal or connect using our Wifi which is free to all hotel guests. The Priory Inn is also home to our beloved restaurant. Committed to using fresh, local produce within 30 miles.There’s something for everyone! A la Carte Menu A selection of delectable and delicious starters, offering Haute cuisine Main Courses with meticulous preparation and careful presentation. Choose from our range of lovely authentic desserts, all prepared in house by our own pastry chef. Our bar offers a classic selection of Real Ales from local breweries; Wine and bottled beer whilst, also, allowing you to experiment with a range of inventive cocktails.

Set in a charming traditional building with stone walls and exposed beams, our hotel’s 14 en-suite rooms are simple, calming and comfortable. The Priory’s charming dining space with its large open wood fire at the centre offers a warming dining experience for its customers. We like to focus on the social side of dining, bringing that out through the opportunity of sharing that our menu offers. Uncomplicated food cooked simply but exceptionally well in the hope to spark conversion is at the heart of all of our dishes. All our ingredients are locally grown foods, within a 30 mile radius helping maintain farmland and green and open spaces in our community. Our bar offers a classic selection of Real Ales from local breweries; Wine and bottled beer whilst, also, allowing you to experiment with a range of inventive cocktails. On colder days, cosy up around our 360-log fire with a Real Ale in hand and a great conversation flowing with a friend next to you. Or on warmer days, catch the rays of the sun out on our patio with an ice-packed Gin and Tonic underway. No matter what the season our bar team is ready to assist you.

Directions

A car is recommended when staying at the property
  • Road from From East ( M4 Junction 17) (10.0 miles)
    From M4 junction 17, take the A429 North towards Malmesbury and Cirencester.
    Two miles after the village of Corston you will approach Malmesbury. Continue straight through two roundabounts. At the third roundabout turn left onto the B4014 sign posted Tetbury.
    Follow this country road for 4.5 miles. You will pass through Long Newnton and enter the town of Tetbury. Go straight across the mini-roundabout next to the Marketplace in the centre of the town following Long Street as it bends to the right. The Priory Inn is on the right hand side and we have a large car park which is free of charge for your stay.
    This journey will take you approximately 15 minutes from junction 17.
  • Road from West( M4 Juntion 18) (10.0 miles)
    From M4 junction 18, take the A46 North towards Stroud.
    Drive for 5.5 miles. Once you pass through a place called Petty France, turn right onto the A433 towards Westonbirt Arboretum and Tetbury. Drive for 8 miles passing through Didmarton and Doughton until you reach Tetbury.
    Turn left at the mini-roundabout with the Marketplace on your right and follow Long Street towards Cirencester. The road bends to the right about 250 meters from the mini- roundabout. The Priory Inn is on the right hand side. We have a large car park.
    This journey will take you approximately 15 minutes from junction 18.
