The Wiveton Bell Information

The Wiveton Bell situated on the Village Green and close to the unspoilt salt marshes of the North Norfolk coastal landscape which is a listed site of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from Blakeney. With 2 AA Rosettes and the Bell is proud to be award a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Fans of the guide will know this is a truly fantastic accolade and one of which we are immensely proud. There's a lively, cheerful atmosphere at the Bell, an 18th-century pub on the village green a mile from Blakeney and North Norfolk's salt marshes, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Expect a chic interior, with heritage-coloured walls, stripped beams, chunky tables and oak-planked floors. Paintings by local artists line the walls of the cosy bar and conservatory dining room, where four local Norfolk ales, Aspall's cider and a carefully selected wine list hold sway. In winter, the inglenook and roaring fire is perfect to sit and mingle with the locals and walkers (wellies are welcome). Home comforts include Flat screen TV’s, blue ray DVD and media library, blue tooth speakers, Wi Fi and Lifestyle and Local Interest Magazines. A hamper breakfast which includes fresh warm croissants from Blakeney Deli arrives at 8.45 along with a newspaper of your choice. Venture out at your leisure we service your room at any time to suit you before lunch. On arrival complimentary Prosecco will indulge your sense of relaxation and further treats are in store by way of our multi award winning Gastro Pub an Inspectors Favourite in the Michelin Pub guide 2016. Cley-next-the-sea, two miles away, is a mecca for birdwatchers and walkers alike. Here you will find ‘Made in Cley’ and ‘Pink Foot’ two exceptional galleries, also Picnic Fayre Deli and Cley Smokehouse. The beaches particularly at Holkham and Wells are world renowned for their magnificent beauty and cleanliness.
