This first floor en-suite room, within the Farmhouse, offers south facing views over open countryside as far as the eye can see, sleeping two people in a double bedded room. This room is also available for single occupancy. This room contains a remote control colour television with Freeview, DVD/CD Player and iPod docking facilities, digital alarm clock radio, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities with full hospitality tray. The en-suite shower room comes complete with a modern efficient shower, heated towel rail, towels and bathrobes. We also supply a selection of toiletries in case things get forgotten. We regret that children (under 16 years of age) / travel cots cannot be accommodated in this room.

This room is also available for single occupancy. A travel cot is available, on request, for the smaller guest. This room contains a remote control colour television with Freeview, digital alarm clock radio, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities with full hospitality tray. The ensuite bathroom comes complete with a bath and modern efficient over bath shower, heated towel rail, towels and bathrobes. We also supply a selection of toiletries in case things get forgotten.

Road from Newcastle/Gateshead (30.0 miles)At junction of A1 / A69 follow the A69 (towards Hexham/Carlisle). Turn right onto the A6079 (towards Acomb, Bellingham & Rothbury). Continue on A6079 for approximately 3 miles. At crossroads with B6318 turn left (to Chollerford). Cross the River Tyne at Chollerford. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the "Military Road" – B6318 (towards Carlisle). Carraw Bed and Breakfast is located on the left hand side after approx 4½ miles, just past the Temple of Mithras (Brocolitia), on your left.

Road from Carlisle (30.0 miles)From the M6 (Junction 43) follow the A69 (signposted Hexham, Newcastle). After approximately 16 miles turn left onto the B630 (signposted Greenhead). Turn right onto the “Military Road” - B6318. Continue on the B6318 for approximately 13 miles. Carraw Bed and Breakfast is located on the right hand side (approximately 4 miles after Housesteads Roman Fort).

Bus from Newcastle or Carlisle (30.0 miles)There is an excellent tourist bus service (the AD122) in high season and at weekends in the low season, running between Hexham and Haltwhistle, stopping at visitor attractions along the way. The bus will stop right outside the Farm entrance, on demand. Further details can be obtained from Traveline North East and Cumbria on 0870 608 2 608.
