The Cridford Inn Information

Description

They say that age is just a number well that number in question is 825 A.D. - that equates to almost 1,200 years of history; not under the same roof of course! Currently (and possibly) the oldest inn in the country and right in the heart of Devon, The Cridford is steeped in history and charm that makes this a destination venue right off the bat! To back-up that charm, an offering of over 100 gins, two restaurant areas, accommodation in quirky rooms and holiday cottages, then this inn really has it all. Since new ownership in 2018, the team have changed with chefs Johnny and Chris in the kitchen creating the most sensational food. Despite it's seemingly remote location, the inn is only 8 miles from the centre of Exeter, 3 minutes from the coast and on the eastern border of Dartmoor National Park. Open 7 days a week and with special theme nights, a varied menu and a served Sunday roast, the pub is truly the hub of Trusham village. The whole package is something of an experience, but with such close proximity to Exeter's shopping and the motorway, this little gem is going to be rediscovered all over again.
