The hotel cottages, a short drive or walk (900m) from the main hotel, are nestled along the old Victorian Walled Garden of the stately Meikleour House. Bright and contemporary with quirky original features, each one bedroom cottage has an equipped kitchen (oven, hobs, washing machine/drier, fridge/freezer), sitting room with log burning stove, spacious bedroom, beautiful bathroom, its own drive, parking and a sweet garden with bench overlooking the woods. The luxurious bed can be made up as a superking or two long twins. Minimum 2 nights stay. Price includes breakfast at the hotel and daily housekeeping. The Meikleour Arms cottages were praised in the discerning British magazine Country Life (Aug. 2015).

It is a short walk away from the main hotel (150m), right in the middle of the conservation village of Meikleour. Bright and contemporary it has been renovated to high standards with an equipped open plan kitchen (oven, hobs, washing machine/drier, fridge/freezer, dining table for 6), sitting room with log burning stove (SatelliteTV and DVD), a spacious master bedroom (SuperKing 6ft/180cm wide luxurious mattress) with en-suite shower room, a second bedroom and third bedroom (King 5ft/150cm wide luxurious mattress) with a shared bathroom. It has its own drive and parking with lovely flower borders at the front and a garden at the back. The master bedroom can be made up as Superking (6ft/180cm) or two long twins. Minimum 2 night stay. Price includes breakfast at the hotel and daily housekeeping. This is an ideal accommodation for a family break or a small sporting party. Dogs welcome (wooden floor in all rooms). Description
The Meikleour Arms is a unique small country hotel in Perthshire, at the heart of the conservation village of Meikleour - which is internationally renowned for its spectacular trees and great salmon fishing while only a short distance away from Perth, Scone Palace and Dunkeld. Built in 1820, it is owned and run by Meikleour Estate; one of the oldest historical estates in East Scotland. The 11 spacious bedrooms and 5 hotel cottages are ideal whether you are looking for a relaxing family holiday, an escape to the country or a sporting trip. The award winning restaurant is proud of its Franco-Scottish heritage and serves superb gastro-pub food incorporating local produce from the estate. Our bar and restaurant offer great locally produced food, custom cask ales and a fine selection of single malts or speciality gins. We are very proud to have been recognised as one of "Britain's Best Pubs" by the prestigious Country Life Magazine and The Sunday Times. Awarded 'Pub of the Year by the AA in 2019 and 2020. Hotel open all year. Bar and restaurant open 7 days a week but do check Covid Restriction in place. Dog Policy: when booking a room or a table, please do let us know if you are bringing a four-legged friend. If you have accommodation directly with us (phone or our website) dogs stay for free, if booking is made via third party website there is a £15 charge per dog per night. We welcome dogs in dedicated areas of the restaurant, in some of our bedrooms and in all of our cottages
