Melbreak Guest House is a Victorian guest house offering b & b Bed and Breakfast accommodation in keswick The Lake District. The guest house is located in the middle of Keswick, all rooms are en-suite and comfortably furnished, non smoking, hearty breakfast, quiet location, central to the lakes,close to the town centre, parks and theatre, walking, cycling, groups welcome. colour LCD TV / DVD, tea and coffee trays, hairdryers and alarm clocks. It is a short walk to the town centre of Keswick where there are a good selection of gift shops, climbing/outdoor wear shops, excellent sweet and antique shops. There are also numerous banks, post office, restaurants, cinema and lots of lovely places to eat and drink. There are lots of things to do, as well as wonderful views over Derwent water and the surrounding fells. Melbreak guest house prides itself in offering comfortable accommodation, A home cooked breakfast and a very warm welcome! We have the Lake District on our doorstep, offering some of the best scenery and walks in the world. The entrance door is situated close to the pavement. There is a step of approximately 1", then an aluminium draught- excluder. The door is 30" wide. There is a tiled floor, approximately 5' long, then a second door - 32" wide, with a flat wooden threshold. Immedietely after this door, to the side of the hall are the stairs, After the initial turn ( 33" between wall and newell post ) there are 37" wide and moderately steep. All bedrooms are situated on the first floor and second floor.
