The Old Shop B & B welcomes guests to their traditional Scottish cottage home which is in the beautiful village of Carsethorn, a hidden gem by the sea in south-west Scotland . We offer excellent quality accommodation with all our rooms having en-suite facilities, tea/coffee/ biscuits and TV/DVD in all rooms. One bedroom downstairs is particularly accessible for disabled guests who can't manage stairs.There are ample off road parking spaces . The seaside garden is a retreat for those wishing to relax and unwind or to view the wildlife. It has stunning allround views of the coastline of Scotland & England. Porpoises, Otters, Rabbits and a wide range of birds can be seen from here. We serve the best local produce in our delicious breakfasts.The village pub The Steamboat Inn which is very popular locally and with visitors serves very good food every day. The surrounding area is lush and green with stunning walks, many and varied visitor attractions from castles to wildlife parks.

Being by the sea the access is very good there are only 2 small steps up to front door and we have a downstairs double en-suite room. The doorways are all regulation size for wheelchairs.
