Description

PARKSIDE, in Minehead, is a Grand Victorian House overlooking beautiful Blenheim Gardens, comprising five comfortable well appointed flats. Quiet yet centrally located, we are at the foot of North Hill, moments from the sea and beach, and a short level walk to the High Street. At the sea front, near the harbour, is the start of the South West Coast Path which leads up wooded North Hill into Exmoor National Park. The West Somerset Railway, which terminates at Minehead, is a particular feature of the area with its historic steam trains travelling along twenty miles of track through the various landscapes of the coastline and the Brendon and Quantock Hills. Minehead is surrounded by the breathtaking expanses of Exmoor National Park. Beside Minehead is the Medieval village of Dunster with its ancient Yarn Market and Castle. Further afield is the picturesque town of Porlock, the ancient bridge of Tarr Steps, Lorna Doone country of Oare and Malmsmead en route to the Devon jewels of Lynton and Lynmouth located beside the stunning Valley of the Rocks. Bus service runs outward from Minehead regularly; open topped buses run during the summer season. PARKSIDE Holiday Flats offer the ideal base for exploring West Somerset and Exmoor. All flats are completely self-contained, comfortable and well appointed. Guests can enjoy the sunny garden with lawn and chairs. PARKSIDE has its own private car park, and free parking is also available on Blenheim Road to the front of the building. PARKSIDE is a no smoking establishment. Each flat has a flat-screen television with integral DVD player; a fully furnished kitchen with cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, with all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils supplied; a bathroom containing electric shower, shaver point, toilet and washbasin; and a hairdryer. On request, our washer and dryer are available for guests' use. Iron and ironing board are also availabls

  • Road from M5 (25.0 miles)
    From the M5 take Junction 25 (Taunton) and follow signs to Minehead on A358, leading through Williton. Continue to follow the signs to Minehead (now the A39). In Minehead follow signs to the Town Centre,On reaching Wellington Square turn Right opposite Costa Coffee into The Parade. Proceed along The Parade (Approx 100 m) to end of the central flower beds and turn left into Blenheim Road. We are two thirds of the way along Blenheim Road. For detailed directions contact us.
