Accessibility

The entrance to the house is on a natural steep incline with 34 steep steps up from the parking bay. The entrance is clearly obvious by the location of the signage in front of the parking bays. There is complimentary parking (a rarity in Mevagissey) in front of Pebble House. We offer 4 guest bedrooms. One Suite is located on the ground floor and no further steps are required to gain access to this. The other 3 are accessed by a staircase to the first and second floors. For breakfast we strive to use local produce including our own home cooked produce. Where possible, we cater for varying dietary requirements i.e. vegetarian; wheat/gluten free. At least 24 hours notice is required please or given at time Booking. Breakfast is included each day in the stated price. We offer free Wi-Fi Fire Alarm operates both audio and visual, further assistance can be be given Luggage assistance from and to your car should you so wish, please ask us on check-in or at time of booking

Directions

  • Road from Exeter A30 (82.0 miles)
    A30 from Exeter, turning off to St Austell at the roundabout just beyond Bodmin. Mevagissey is signed from St Austell. When you get to Mevagissey, follow the one way system through the village, past the Ship Inn on your right, Boots Chemist on your right and continue up Polkirt Hill to the very end of the road. Pebble House is located on the right just before the T-junction.
  • Train from St Austell (8.0 miles)

    St Austell station is on the mainline route from London to Penzance.It is an approx 15 min car journey from Pebble House.Taxis can be found at the station, however, booking one in advance is advisable

  • Air from Newquay (20.0 miles)

    Set your SatNav to Pebble House and the journey takes approx 45 mins, possibly longer in the Summer months
