Seacroft Guest House Information


Probably the best Guesthouse in Paignton. Newly refurbished en-suite shower rooms offering comfy double, king, twin and family rooms. We welcome singles, couples and families but regret no stag or hen parties. We are a stone throw from the seafront and Paignton Green along the Esplanade The town centre, rail and bus stations, shops, bars and restaurants are less than 5-minute walk. Seacroft is ideally situated for beach holidays, sight-seeing and visiting the many attractions in the bay. Our conservatory and south facing patio garden are available to relax in at any time. We offer a good choice of breakfast from light dishes to full English breakfast. We cater for Vegans, Vegetarians and those with dietary needs. We provide the best quality bed and breakfast accommodation and hospitality. We are close to Paignton Sands and Goodrington beaches, Paignton town centre, coach and train stations are a few minutes’ walk away meaning you are centrally located for all Paignton and South Devon have to offer. Paignton is at the centre of stunning Torbay with blue flag sandy beaches, a Victorian pier and bustling harbour providing boat trips, fishing and water sports. Local attractions include Paignton Zoo, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Quaywest Water Park, Old way Mansion, Agatha Christie's Greenway Mansion, Occombe Farm and much more. At the Harbour you can catch a water taxi to both Torquay and Brixham during peak seasons. If you like walking, then the Paignton to Brixham sea walk if a 6-mile trek that will provide amazing vistas of the Devon coastline and sea.

Gareth and Mark took over the guesthouse in 2017. Previously Gareth was a Social Worker and Mark was a Director of a national Charity. Since taking over the guesthouse they are transforming the B&B and updating the facilities and services. All rooms have been refurbished with plans to improve guest services in 2022 by improving the transformation of the front garden so that guest have a place to relax. We hope you enjoy our guesthouse as much as we do.

  • Road from Exeter (20.0 miles)
    As M5 ends, merge onto the A38 and follow signs for Torquay, then Paignton. At Preston Down Roundabout take 1st exit to Preston sea front, follow the sea front until Paignton Esplanade, with the sea on the left, pass the Apollo multi-plex cinema, Pirates Golf until mini roundabout, turn right and the 1st right again into Adelphi Lane and 1st left into our car-park. We are situated on the corner of Sands Road and Adelphi Lane.
  • Train from Paignton Train Station (0.2 miles)
    From Train station, walk towards the sea front along Torbay Road, at end of road, turn right into the Esplanade and to the end to the mini roundabout, turn right and find Seacroft on corner of Adelphi Lane.
  • Coach from Paignton Bus Station (0.2 miles)
    From bus station into Torbay Road towards sea front, end of road, turn right into Esplanade Road, at end of Esplanade turn right at mini roundabout and find Seacroft on corner of Adelphi Lane.
