New for 2022 we have two beautiful garden lodges. Situated on the edge of our lake, and just a short walk from the main building these must be the most romantic rooms available in the area. Each with their own balcony looking over the lake, stylish interiors and luxury bathrooms (including antique roll top baths), these rooms are simply perfect for a special few nights away. And with Turtleys kitchens just at the end of the path, you can enjoy a delicious dinner before heading back to the lodges for the most peaceful nights sleep imaginable. One small or medium sized dog is welcome in each lodge and there will be an additional charge of £20 for this added to your bill at the end of your stay. Please let us know in advance if you plan on bringing your four-legged friend with you so we can prepare a dog bed and treats! Please remember that we are a fairly rural location and wi-fi cannot be guaranteed.

The Turtley Corn Mill Information
Description
Turtley Corn Mill has had a varied history, originally built as a Mill, then converted into a famous chicken hatchery, finally becoming a pub in the 1970's. The setting of Turtley is idyllic; located in the beautiful and varied area of Avonwick, South Hams the original Mill is set in six acres of grounds bordered by the River Glazebrook, we even have our own small lake complete with an island, perfect for sunny days and idle wandering. Perhaps surprisingly for such a picturesque location, Turtley Corn Mill is conveniently located just 2 minutes from the A38 making it easily accessible from all directions. Turtley has been completely renovated by the current owners, followed shortly after by the addition of the bedrooms. The interiors are light and fresh, with a noticeable absence of fruit machines, music, or pool tables, all thoughtfully replaced with newspapers to read, books to browse, great food and beers and interesting wines. We have six double en-suite rooms here at Turtley, all with a shower and two with a bath, and all are designed and fitted out to the standard now expected by those who travel regularly. Each room is equipped with king-sized beds, duck feather and down duvets, Egyptian cotton linen, Sky free view, flat screen TV’s, free internet connection and powerful, spacious showers and other thoughtful additions for your comfort and relaxation. Two of our rooms are located together along a small corridor, and each of these have 'zip-and-link' beds providing the flexibility of either a king-sized bed or two single beds. This makes them particularly suitable for guests travelling with children, or equally for couples travelling together. Turtley is an entirely non-smoking site, both inside and outside.
